The Partners in Health (PIH) scale is one of the tools of the Flinders Program and is used to measure self-management capability. It is completed by the client and contains 12 questions covering the principles of self-management.

The PIH scale can be used as a standalone screening questionnaire or as part of the whole Flinders Program. More recently, FHBHRU has seen the tool being used around the world in clinical environments, used in research and translated to other languages.
